reflections sorta

We are in a new year and I must say last year ended on a good note, looking back I made peace with family, added 2 new great grandchildren, saw the adoption of 3 wonderful grandchildren and we moved into our perfect little house. The health of my family is in a good spot, no seriouse illnesses, just the normal day to day things. I have my best friend, husband, the soulmate of my life beside me. I don't have to ask for anything else to make my life the best that it is at this moment. 

the begining of the end of the year

today is the first day of the end of the year.  It has been a good year, we added two new members to our family, Tristen and Dean, we moved into a little house that I love, we are back in Northern Nevada where I feel is my place to be. We made peace in the family. It has been a good year and the new year will bring more, we will be adding a new little person to our family, that is if she does not decide to come into our world this month, she is trying her best to be here, I think she knows that she will be joining a fantastic family and cannot wait to start her journey with us. I have so much to be thankful for. Yes, I am happy, content, and full of good feelings.

it was a good month for healing

October was a good month for healing in our family, two sisters made peace and a niece and Aunt have made peace, ahhhhhhhhhh so good.  I love seeing my family pulling together and the healing is working.

I love today,  Maura and Julia made peace with each other. It will be a work in progress but it is a start. So today is a good day. Thank you.

The new member in our family

today is a good day, we add a new member to our family, his name is Dean Snyder and he will be born today, he will be our 12th great grandchild. Wow our family has grown leaps and bounds. 20 grandchildren and now 12 great grandchildren, we are so blessed.

I think I know why my comments do not register

on some of my family's blog I have tried to leave comments but it does not let me and I think I just figured it out. Some of you still have my old e-mail address to allow me to see your pages and I don't have that one any longer, I don't know how to fix that so my current e-mail will work. It is the google gmail acct one that I am now using. If any of you know what I have to do to fix that let me know ok.

ps loving my new residence. Will write more when I have some good pictures to post, it is taking us a bit longer to unpack, I guess that comes with age. Love you all.

New Address

I am so excited, we are going to move to our new home on August 1st. It is a quaint little house in the historical district of Dayton NV. It has a big porch that runs the length of the front of our house and faces west so we have mountains to look at. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it and all we could do was walk around it and peek into the windows but then on Tuesday we were taken inside by the property manager and it said I am yours lease me I fell in love again. It is very small but big enough for the two of us. It has 2 bedrooms and one small bathroom and I mean small but what the heck, we managed in the motorhome so we will manage in this one. The main area is a open concept with the kitchen, dining area and living area all in one, it has a woodburning stove, I have a small room off the dining room that will be my computer/craft room, no tv in the living room. I cannot wait to be able to sit outside on my front porch in the morning to listen to the birds singing and just enjoy the area.
